Spec’s Wine Spirits & Finer Foods
How could we not give some love to the one and only Spec’s on their 60th Anniversary of business? Not only are they one of the best business partners on the planet, with one of the best entrepreneurial success stories anywhere, they are also incredibly kind and philanthropic human beings. Today, we offer a toast and a warm congratulations to the Rydman family for six incredible decades in the books. Cheers to 60 more! 🥂 The Symphony of Spec's
Bottlecapps is constantly striving to bring innovation and value to the BevAlc industry; in those efforts, we are excited to toast some of the awesome new updates that we have planned for a Q2 (April-June) release! Most of these upgrades came directly from store or brand feedback, so we hope that just like your favorite shot, they’ll really help get the party started 💃
Pull up a chair and join the FUN! Bottlecapps’ growth continues, and we say ‘the more the merrier’! Here’s a quick shoutout to some of the newest additions to our retail roster 📢
Luke's Liquor - Massachusetts
Lukes is a generational family business like many of our partners. They currently have four locations and seem likely to continue growing. This group makes the second Luke’s to join the platform, making the count of 10 total stores on board. Why? Because the people of the surrounding Boston area love them and often drive well out of their way to find the special bottle they can’t find elsewhere. Lukes’ huge selection of products has led some customers to call them the “Toys R Us” of liquor stores.
Parkway Wine and Liquor - Bristol, TN
When store-owner Fenil got a hold of Parkway two years ago, the store had very few customers. She radically changed almost everything from the previous ownership in an attempt to drive customer engagement, and it worked. She used her social media platforms as well as new in-store strategies to increase sales more than 20 percent. By listening to the feedback from her customers (sound familiar?), Parkway added a new tasting bar, added more moonshine and other products, and really began to cater to locals. With Fenil’s leadership and her hands-on approach, the community began to really appreciate these efforts. They are now celebrating their two year anniversary and with any luck, there will be many more to come!
Sherlock's - Atlanta, GA
Sherlock’s is another store that is well liked by the locals. Despite serious leadership and in-depth business knowledge from owner Craig, Sherlock’s manages to keep a fantastic sense of humor. Their sign out front often has funny sayings on it like “I’m not slurring my words, I’m talking in cursive and it’s elegant.” Combine that with a super friendly staff and an extensive knowledge of vintage wines and fine bourbons, and Sherlock’s checks all the boxes. Now that they have officially made the switch to Bottlecapps, what new and exciting ways of engaging with customers will come next? We’re excited to find out!
